UTS & Oracle Sign Strategic Agreement with Government of Jordan

UTS has recently signed a $6 million agreement with the Jordanian Government. Within the agreement, UTS pledges to reinvest $3 million worth of Oracle products and services toward the Jordanian e-Government Projects, as well as establishing an Oracle Academy.

Signed in August 2007, the agreement has already borne fruit with several e-services projects having been qualified for implementation during the first quarter of 2008. Additionally, a complete training program for government employees has been developed to deliver Oracle Technology courses, with the aim of supporting the e-Government projects through employee capacity building.
